Probably my favorite pic of Dad ;-), taken in 2006! My 75 lb boy dog, Maz, still thinks he's a lap dog. The look of utter bliss on Maz's face because he's getting a full-body cuddle is priceless! ... as is the look of non-amusement on Dad's face! If I recall, Dad was quite over-heated at the moment ;-).

The caterpillar problem I came home to, after visiting Green Bay!

Dad taking pic of himself, the water, and a banner-airplane on Cocoa Beach in 2003. Hee, hee, hee ;-).

I don't think I'd be amused if I had a dog's butt in my face either. LOL

Actually, it wasn't this incident that is remembered with some "heat." It was another time, I thought I had a photo of it, with both dogs lying stretched out on me. YOu have to remember these animals really put out the HEAT! In Florida!

The Sixties rock group Three Dog Night took their name from an Australian Aborigine term for a really cold night, http://www.danspapers.com/issue31_2006/sup4.html, for a reason. Two dogs, on an already warm day, can cause some serious sweating. Especially to a Wisconsin boy down in the hot South!

"Full body cuddles" reminds me of the discussions about the two letters of hugging; A and I. Ever watch two people hug when they meet? They either form the letter A, in that they only touch at the shoulders, or they form the letter I, performing a full body hug. I've done both, prefer the letter I.

BTW, the beach photo caused a bit of discussion recently when Amy was home, and Nancy and her family were over. "Course I'd be embarrassed to explain why....

AND, as I recall, I ASKED that the pic of me and Maz be taken. Not so that there would be formal documentation of the manner in which I got treated at my daughter's house, but... Well, wait, that WAS why I asked for the photo, but I wasn't mad. I was amused!!

Amy, very nice photos. They tell stories all by themselves. I would love to see more, more of special moments, whether they are of dogs, family or nature. It's a special treat for me to see things through your eyes.

I'd need to get releases signed before that discussion could be revealed. Ain't gonna happen.....
